What is the exponential number?
It is represented as an. Exponentiation corresponds to repeated multiplication of the base a, n times.
How are exponential numbers calculated?
As an example, in the statement an where a=3 and n=2 then an = 32 and this means multiplication of 3 by 2 times which can be calculated 32 = 3 x 3 = 9.
When an exponent is 0, the result of the exponentiation of any base will always be 1. For example, 50 = 1
When an exponent is 1, the base remains the same. For example, 71 = 7.
How are negative exponential numbers calculated?
If the power of an integer is negative, it is expressed rationally. For example, 2-3 = 1/23 = 1/8.
If the exponent of a rational number is negative, the rational number at the base is reversed. For example, (3/4)-2 = (4/3)2 = (4 x 4) / 3 x 3 = 16 / 9
In exponential numbers, the function of the negative exponent is to invert the base number. Negative force does not affect the sign of the number in the base.
